The LFF’s first official event in our Lupus Awareness Month of May – is always held on the first Saturday of the month. The first awareness event is an “Awareness Walk” where all our Warriors, Friends and Supporters meet at 6am underneath the Albert Park Pavilion in Suva. This year, after the lifting of covid restrictions – our Lupus families and supporters showed up, registered, and then had a warm-up zumba session with our Zumba Instructor – Mr. Paul Simpson. After the warm-up zumba, everyone commenced with their awareness/fitness walk around the parameters of Albert Park. There were fruits and health drinks and light refreshments available under the grandstand, also with some literature on the disease Lupus. The event ended at 8am.
