On 22 June, Maria Waloki, the LFF’s West Coordinator and I, had the privilege of conducting a Lupus Awareness session in Burenitu Village, Nalawa, Ra. We are grateful to the villagers for their warm welcome, participation, and willingness to learn more about lupus, its signs and symptoms, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
A special thank you to Sigatoka Pita of the Nalawa Police PIF for helping connect us with the Turaga ni Koro and making this awareness visit possible. Your support and commitment to community wellbeing is sincerely appreciated.
Together, we continue making lupus visible—one community at a time.
