LFF Conducts Awareness With CMF Rakiraki

On Wednesday, 12 August, the Lupus Foundation of Fiji conducted a lupus awareness programme at the CMF Church in Rakiraki Town.

We were grateful for the wonderful turnout, including pastors who travelled from Ba and Lautoka to join us. The group was very engaging, asking thoughtful questions not only about lupus but also about other health conditions affecting our communities.

We have also noticed that depression and anxiety appear to be emerging concerns in some of the communities we have visited in Ra Province. This highlights the importance of looking at health holistically—addressing not only physical illness, but also mental and emotional wellbeing.

A heartfelt vinaka vakalevu to the Talatala Qase and Radini for warmly hosting the Lupus Foundation of Fiji and supporting this important awareness programme.

We also sincerely acknowledge and thank the Ministry of Health and Medical Services for its financial support, which enables the Lupus Foundation of Fiji to continue taking much-needed health education and awareness into our communities.

Together, through education, compassion and community support, we can make lupus visible and help build healthier communities. 💜
