LFF Awareness with YWAM West

On the afternoon of May 19th, the Lupus Foundation of Fiji had the privilege of conducting a lupus awareness session at the YWAM Base in Nadi.

We sincerely thank the leadership team for welcoming us and providing the opportunity to share information about lupus, its challenges, and the importance of awareness and support.

We were encouraged to meet and engage with 20 young people representing various Pacific Island nations, as well as participants from Japan, South Africa, and Italy. Their interest, thoughtful questions, and willingness to learn made the session both meaningful and impactful.

A special thank you to Vaciseva Caunivalu for his leadership, support, and for facilitating this opportunity. We deeply appreciate his commitment to empowering young people and creating spaces where important health conversations can take place.

Together, through education and awareness, we can build greater understanding, compassion, and support for those living with lupus.

Vinaka vakalevu, YWAM Nadi, for partnering with us in raising awareness and making a difference. 💜
