Lupus Awareness in Naimasimasi Village
This morning, the Lupus Foundation of Fiji, in partnership with the Fiji Council of Social Services (FCOSS), held an awareness session in Naimasimasi Village. The event was a great success, with 54 adults and over 20 children in attendance.
The session was highly engaging, with participants actively contributing to discussions. FCOSS shared valuable insights into their role in addressing grassroots concerns, encouraging the community to register and seek support for unresolved issues through their platform.
The Lupus Foundation focused on raising awareness about the signs and symptoms of lupus, with a particular emphasis on lupus-related kidney issues. These sessions are vital in empowering communities to recognize early symptoms and seek appropriate medical care.
We are grateful for the warm reception from the Naimasimasi community and look forward to continuing our outreach efforts across Fiji. Together, we can spread awareness and improve lives.
