On May the 10th 2022, the Lupus Foundation of Fiji turned 3 years old! Apparently, every 10th of May is recognised as “International Lupus Day”, and it is also our birthday since we launched the Foundation in 2019. On the occasion of our 3rd birthday, the Foundation invited one of our Lupus Ambassadors – Opposition Member of Parliament – the Honourable Lenora Qereqeretabua, to be our Chief Guest. The Foundation also invited Dr. Anis Taeed, a Nephrologist at the Fiji National Kidney Foundation, who was our keynote speaker who delivered his address on Lupus Nephritis.
