The Month of May is Lupus Awareness Month!

Save these dates:

May 2nd (Saturday) – “Walk A Mile In My Shoes” Venue: Albert Park 6am – 8am. We will start the day with a devotion and a pep talk from one of our Lupus Ambassadors – Ms. Monica Raghwan, and then we warm-up with a Zumba Session with Mr. Paul Simpson, before we take to the Albert Park Perimeter (as many times as you want), and warm-down with another Zumba session with Paul before we dismiss. There will be Fruits and Fiji Water available with some Medicinal Juice or beverage from one of our Partners “Juice Fiji!” for sampling and purchase.

May 10th (Sunday) – “International Lupus Day” falls on a Sunday this year: Wear ‘Purple’ or ‘Something Purple’ to your Sunday morning service to celebrate “Purple Sunday”

May 11th (Monday) – We will officially celebrate “International Lupus Day” on this day with the usual Morning Tea at the Albert Park Pavilion Function Room, from 10am – 12pm. International Lupus Day is universally celebrated on the 10th of May. This is also the Birthday of the Lupus Foundation of Fiji! Established on Friday the 10th of May 2019the Foundation is celebrating 7 years of God’s grace on the Foundation’s life …. and the journey continues!

May 30th (Saturday) – “Dancing With Lupus” Come join us at our final official event of the month! Hear some stories on the journeys of our Warriors (Lupus Sufferers), learn more about the work of the Foundation and what we’ve achieved so far, and also do some networking on how you can assist us in this noble and worthy cause!
