2022 Dancing With Lupus Charity Dinner

The cutting of the cake was officiated by the chief guest, the Minister for Economy and Attorney-General – the Honourable Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum (center). He was assisted by (from Lft – Rt) his beautiful wife – Mrs. Ella Sayed-Khaiyum, LFF Trustee – Mr. Ernest Bogi Basilio, LFF Executive Director – Ms. Una Tuitubou, Lupus Warrior/ Guest Speaker – Mrs. Merelita Isimeli, CWM Head of Internal Medicine/Keynote Speaker – Dr. Shrish Acharya, LFF Board Chair – Mr. Ben Whippy.

On the last Saturday of May 2022, the Lupus Awareness Month of May came to an end with our signature “Dancing With Lupus” charity dinner. The chief guest this year was the Minister for Economy and Attorney-General of Fiji – Mr. Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. This year was memorable as it was the year that the world came roaring ‘back to life’ – after the global pandemic or Covid-19 pandemic had brought the whole world to an abrupt halt. But the party must go on and the Lupus Foundation of Fiji celebrated this year accordingly. “Dancing With Lupus 2022” was a celebration of life!
