LFF Awareness with USPSA

On Wednesday night, the Lupus Foundation of Fiji had the privilege of conducting a lupus awareness session at the University of the South Pacific in partnership with USPSA.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to share information about lupus with the students and to continue raising awareness among our young people.

A heartfelt thank you to our Lupus Foundation of Fiji members who are currently pursuing their studies at USP. Special appreciation goes to Dolores Thaggard, Tom, and Jone for making this awareness session possible through their initiative, support, and coordination.

We would also like to acknowledge Mrs Rani Hassan, Head of our Lupus Warriors, who shared her experiences and insights on the night, helping to bring a powerful and personal perspective to the discussion.

A special vinaka vakalevu to our international lupus warrior from Tuvalu, Faioa Laupena, for assisting with the awareness programme and for standing in solidarity with fellow lupus warriors across the Pacific.

Awareness is one of the most powerful tools we have in the fight against lupus. Every conversation helps to increase understanding, encourage early diagnosis, and strengthen support for those living with this invisible illness.

Thank you to USPSA and everyone who attended and participated. Together, we are making lupus visible and building a more informed and compassionate community.
