The final official event for our ‘Lupus Awareness Month of May’, always happens on the last Saturday of the month, and everything culminates in our Charity Dinner dubbed “Dancing With Lupus”. Our Chief Guest at this year’s 2023 Charity Dinner was one of our very own Lupus Ambassadors – the Honourable Assistant Minister for Housing and Deputy Speaker of the House, Lenora Qereqeretabua. The Hounarable Assistant Minister in her speech – reassured the Foundation, that the signing of an MOU with the Ministry of Health is in the pipeline, and that this is only the beginning of our journey with the biggest stakeholder in this fight – and that is government.
