On Tuesday evening May 19th , the Lupus Foundation of Fiji had the privilege of conducting a lupus awareness session at the FNU Natabua Campus in Lautoka.
We sincerely appreciate the lecturers and students who took the time to attend and engage with us. Thank you for your warm welcome, your interest in learning more about lupus, and for the hospitality shown to us, including the lovely tea fellowship after the session.
A very special thank you to my dear high school friend, Mrs Miriama Namosimalua, now a lecturer at the campus, for helping make this awareness opportunity possible.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank our own Lupus warrior, Anareta Matainadroga, and her partner, Fred Raiwalui, for their assistance in facilitating the awareness session. Fred and Anareta are valued members of our Lupus West Team under the leadership of Mrs Maria Waloki.
While Maria was unable to join us as she was overseas on a work assignment, we thank her for her continued leadership and commitment to lupus awareness in the Western Division.
Together, through education and awareness, we are helping to create greater understanding, compassion, and support for those living with lupus.
Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who contributed to making this awareness session a success. ![]()
