The Lupus Foundation of Fiji was honoured to conduct a Lupus Awareness and Education Session in Drauniivi Village, home to one of our lupus warriors, Taivesi.
More than 70 adults, youth, and children attended the session, demonstrating the community’s commitment to learning about lupus and supporting those affected by the disease. Participants engaged in lively discussions, shared personal experiences, and gained a deeper understanding of lupus, its symptoms, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
Many attendees shared that they knew someone living with lupus or had lost a loved one to lupus-related complications, highlighting the importance of continued awareness and education in our communities.
